I have known Rob Simpson for approximately 30 years and have been a client of Simpson Financial Services since its inception. The longevity of the relationship speaks volumes for the service that we, my wife and I, have received from Rob and SFS during that period.

We have always from the start received a personal and direct service from SFS with Rob remaining an available point of contact. As the business has grown my concern, as an aging technophobe, has been that we would become another client to be dealt with via email and/or post. This is not the case with SFS staff who are always accessible, polite and patient with Rob, if and when necessary, also there to clarify, discuss and advise.

During the early years, thanks to Rob’s polite persuading and cajoling we managed to save for a nice pension the receipt of which does not seriously prejudice our capital investment. During the later years and at present, in this topsy turvy world, we are reassured in the knowledge, that we can pick the phone up and speak to Rob and/or staff at SFS for advice or reassurance.

I’d heard SFS were very good, and was pleasantly surprised after our first meeting nearly 8 years ago just how confident they made me feel about my pension fund planning, the fear was genuinely removed. 8 years on I’m still relying on the support and advice from the team. I’ve recommended a number of people over the years who like me just needed a bit of hand holding.

I retired early 7 years ago and needed the services of a financial advisor to help plan the years a head. I initially looked at 3 advisors and decided to employ Simpsons to handle my various accounts. Rob simpson set up the plan and a few years later Michael Hinett took over as my personal financial advisor. All we planned came to fruition this year and despite COVID, various financial crises and wars etc we have been successful and looking back I definitely made a good choice.

We have been most satisfied with the expert advice and guidance provided by Michael Hinett, who completely understood our situation and aspirations and consequently prepared relevant proposals for our forthcoming retirement.

Michael gently guided us through the maze of financial options available to us and gave excellent advice whilst explaining each of the options.

We now have a greater understanding of our pensions and finances and we are really excited for our retirement and the future.

Retiring last year, I was given advice on what and how to invest some of my 25%. I followed this advice and am extremely happy with the results.
