National award recognition for Vicky and Milena
We started 2024 by winning the CII's President's Trophy and seeing our Head of Paraplanning, Alex, take home the coveted 'Young Achiever of the Year' award. Now, we're ending the year with incredible pride as Vicky Tolley, Paraplanner, was awarded 'Paraplanner Apprentice of the Year' and Milena Damjanovic, Paraplanner, was awarded 'Financial Services Administrator Apprentice of the Year' at the CII & PFS Apprenticeship Awards last night.
These national awards recognise individuals who go above and beyond to deliver exceptional outcomes for their clients, make improvements and shape process within their roles and firms, and inspire the next generation of administrators, paraplanners and financial advisers.
As well as the prestigious awards that Vicky and Milena brought home, Simpson Financial Services was also shortlisted for 'Apprentice Employer of the Year - Small Firm'. This achievement acknowledges how crucial apprenticeships and training are to the running of our firm; we pride ourselves in creating entry paths to the industry for people of all backgrounds. When our team thrives, so do our clients.
A huge congratulations to all the winners of last night's categories - we were amongst the highest achievers in our profession and it was an honour to see Vicky and Milena's hard work recognised.
